Having escaped being roped into wedding party activities, two American strangers turn a day of sightseeing in Cambridge, England into a series of passionate encounters.

Author’s note: I had a blast writing this story. I hope y’all will enjoy reading it just as much.

An Invitation Home (part of the Naughty Literati’s Coming Home autumn boxed set)

A homeless veteran and the dog he rescued in Afghanistan–or more accurately, rescued him–camp out in the empty field behind the local veterinarian’s home and clinic. When a storm spawns multiple tornadoes in the area, Doc Hannah wants her frequent field visitor/camper and his dog in her house, safe and sound. She asks him to help her get her four-legged patients to safety in her basement cellar and convinces him to stay there with her during the storm. A crazy idea forms in her mind, and she has the length of the storm to convince him to not only work for her, but also accept her offer of providing room and board.

Daniel grew up in one foster home after another, and joined the army when he turned eighteen. When he was discharged because of an injury, he didn’t know what to do with himself back state-side. He eventually ends up in his army buddy’s home town, but can’t find an apartment complex that will take him and his dog. He’s not sure what to make of the good doc’s offer of not only a job, but to live there with her. Not for free, thank god. He doesn’t want anyone’s charity. But this is her home, and he’s never had one before. He’s tempted to accept her invitation, but should he?
